Best Mod for around $500?
Awesome. Thanks guys, your responses have all been well appreciated.
So this is what im thinking= Stillen Ztube/ Mrev2/ Stillen swaybars =)
Is there anything in particular i need to look for when purchasing the Mrev2 besides a Core return for my OEM one..?
What do u get better response from Mrev2 or Spacer? Anyone dyno results?
Thanks fellas

I dont remember which gets better response but I remember reading somewhere that both on there own make comparable gains. Theres an entire thread about mrev on nonrevup engine that explains a lot.

Anyhow, i migh just clean my K&N Filter and get the stillen Ztube for around $50. Still taking advice if you guys got some =)

With your budget, spacer and sway bars are the ticket.
Suspension Mods will give the biggest bang for your buck
Don't waste your $500 on engine, intake or exhaust mods. All of them COMBINED do very little. One $500 mod will not do anything noticable, unless it's noise you're after. The only power mods worth talking about involve FI.
In my experience, suspension mods will provide a far more tangible improvement than power mods. I installed Eiback sway bars, Eiback Prokit springs and Tokico D-spec shocks. You couldn't do the springs and shocks together for that budget, but if you could do the work yourself, you'd sorta be in tha ball park. It would be a shame to do only springs or only shocks since they share so much install labor. And they would provide a dramatic handling improvement. If you're tight on the $500, do just the sway bars. They make a nice improvement in cornering.

I've asked this question before and here appears to be the reason for my confusion. Is MY car going to run lean with ONLY a spacer, it's a 2004 6MT Coupe.
i've ridden in an 03 6mt coupe with only 1/2" spacer and hks exhaust and it seemed to pull harder than stock. more so I would say than my car
although you guys are anti-intake, i read a post on 350z where the guy said that intake doesn't do much until you add a spacer. i'm thinking i'm gonna try a stillen intake and see how that is with mrev
