Stillen Stage 1 SC?

http://www.sportcompactonly.com/prod...=2&mk=Infiniti

I've got the Stillen Intake and Exhaust setup. What kind of power increase could I expect from Stage I and Stage II Stillen SC? And are those good prices for the Stillen SC on the SCO link I gave you, or where else should I look?

Thanks!

No, that is a sweet A$$ deal. If you finance just a stage one you will be fine. Your motor will never blow if you get it tuned after.

To my knowledge, you can't touch anything with the ss box. Period.

Here is the deal with the Stillen Supercharger.

The split second box, That comes on the stage 1,2,3 are all teh same. Apparently the values are locked and the kit comes set up rich enough to accomadate the jump from stage 2-3 or stage 1.

If you get the stage 4, you send your box back to stillen and they send you an another box that has been re-programed for you with the new tune for your larger injector, and smaller pulley (more boost). It is to my knowledge that this box is also locked for further tunning.

The reason behind this locked box, is so that idiots dont try to change the a/f ratio and lean it out and blow their engine. Then, the stillen supercharger would be blowing engines left and right, taking the SURE FOOTED name away from STILLEN.

I had this kit on my car(before i almost died in my car accident) and the car was soooooooo sick. If you get this kit, be prepaired to have people looking all the time when they hear you step on the throttle.

This kit is sick, just dont expect to make more then 360hp MAX with the stage 4 kit.

100 percent correct except you dont have to send the box back, they send you a new one and you just wire it back into the original wiring harness.

My sedan is an AT, will the AT be able to handle a Stage 1 w/o any problem? And what, power wise, would the difference be between Stage 1 and 2? I've got Stillen intake/exhaust, no other mods. And by what jdj27x said, I don't have to tune if I get stage 1 on this motor?

The AT will be fine but a valve body upgrade would be a good idea in the future.

I do not recommend the Stage 1 because the blower/plenum heat soaks so bad. I would go straight to Stage 2 with the intercooler, that is what I did.

The split second box can not be tuned in any way, it does not even have the serial port that the normal boxes do. You would have to get a UTEC, UNICHIP, or eq. in order to do any tuning. The kit is tuned rich for safety.

Oh yeah, the price at sportcompact only is good but remember that they are not an authorized Stillen dealer and if you have any problems Stillen is harder to deal with if you did not buy the kit from them.

I got mine back in Jan and I was able to talk them down to almost the SCO price at the time. My stage 2 kit with CF hood, warranty, and shipping was $6k.

Alright, cool.

Thanks everyone for the info! One last question... what would the power numbers be on a Stage 2?
