oil in spark plugs

ok so i was replacing the spark plugs today and one of them had oil in it, it has to be a seal, now how hard are these seals to replace and is this going to damage my engine in some way?? thanx

Oil at the tip of your spark plugs, or on the threads. If they're on the threads ur ok. thats from the anti-seize, providing you or whoever put the plugs in used it.

im talking engine oil, not anti-seize and yes it was on the threads, btw i replaced the original plugs

Doesn't that just mean your engine is running really rich? Actually that's with 2-stroke motorcycles but I have no idea how it relates to cars?

Oiling your spark plugs............?

Oil on the threds of your spark plugs won't hurt
anything.........but if the oil is on the tip or anywhere
in that area you've got problems!
