from my past experience, every dealership has their own "60K" service so it may vary depending on where you go, but typically they'll do transmission, differential, coolant, brake flush, throttle body cleaning, replace timing belts (for cars with belts), oil change, tire rotation, top off fluids, to name a few... i think they usually charge around $1k for the entire service. well worth it especially if you're gonna keep your car a while, but most of what they do, you can DIY.

It's your last major chance to suck up to dealer to pay them to find warranty items that Nissan can be persuaded to pay for............why 60k services should be done at 59,000 miles.

Look in your owner's manual.

Service Manual Schedule of Periodic Maintance.

Note: this is schedule 2, normal driving. Hard wear and tear on the vehicle, uses schedule 1. The distance between services is effectively half of schedule 2, so this would be the 30k service.
Replace:
  • Air Cleaner Filter
  • In cabin micro filter
  • Engine coolant (after 60k, every 30k)
  • Engine Oil & filter

Inspect:
  • Drive belts (after 60k, every 15k)
  • EVAP vapor lines
  • Fuel Lines
  • Brake lines & cables
  • Brake pads & rotors
  • MT gear oil, ATF fluid, & differential gear oil (DEMANDS Nissan Type "J" for ATF, otherwise warranty voided)
  • Steering gear & linkage
  • Axle & suspension parts
  • Exaust system

Non-service items:
  • Fuel filter

Service when necessary:
  • Intake & exaust valves

After 60k, everything will have been serviced, except the spark plugs. They are repaced at 105k

The legal life of a vehicle is 100,000 miles, most are pretty trouble free to 150k [assumming higher than minimum maintenance] if you want 200k or 300,000 miles you must start early to change all lubricants and do things more frequently and better!
