I know it made a difference on my 05 AT (3/8" spacer + iso thermal)

The Motordyne plenum spacer was initially made for the Non RevUp engines. The same when installed on the newer RevUp engines dyno'd no improvement. Then Tony introduced the MREV , which was a spacer and a non RevUp lower collector combo . . . Soon, it was followed up with the MREV+, which was a spacer and a modified non RevUp lower collector combo. Now . . . there are the spacers and the MREV2. The spacers are still the same. However, the MREV2 is an even more modified version of the non RevUp lower collector. The original MREV set-up was originally sold as a combo package for the RevUp engines, which consisted of the lower collector and the spacer. Now, the spacers and the new MREV2 lower collector are sold separately. It's been made easier. You pick and choose your set-up.

Guys, all G35's in 2003 were non-revup, regardless of tranny option.

Is that not true also for the 2004's?
Was it in 2005 the rev-up VQ was born with 6mt's only?
I think so, but not sure. This is why I'm asking for my educational knowledge.

Yes, 2003 and 2004 were non-revup in both transmissions. And yes, 2005 was the first year of the rev-up.

Andy, with all these options what is the best set-up for a non revup engine. I'm assuming it would be the MREV2 only?

I don’t want to speak for Andy - but this question has been asked in many dif ways (I originally was inquiring when MD introduced MREV2).... the bottom line IMO is... the jury is out as far as combo. There has simply not been enough (practically no) data/stats to make an informed decision about the lower collector. However, I can tell you first-hand the spacer (I have 1/2") is definitely worth the purchase.

I would LOVE to see data regarding the MREV2 combo w/spacer (particularly 1/2"). There are several people that have been saying they will dyno but it's been months.

I'm thinking/hoping Nissan Sport Mag (formally Sport Z) will put the questions to rest... fingers crossed.

so i have a 04 6MTcoupe. I can't do a combo?
I thought the MREV2 was for revup engine only.
If i get the 5/6 spacer and JWT pop charger would that run a lean?
or the MREV2+ 5/6 spacer + JWT pop charger will run lean?
I know the ECU flash going cost at least $1200 or more depend on shop.

I have the 1/2" spacer only, but I do have the NextGear thermal isolation between the lower plenum and final injector assy (bought before the MD Isotherm was available). I dynoed with this, Z-tube w/ KN, and the Stillen catback and my A/F was dead perfect at 13.1 and flat though the revs.

You should not be lean at all with just a spacer and JWT on an '04. Also, $1200 for reflash? I sent mine in to TS for the F-Spec + fuel optimize based on my dyno and it was $495.
