Check out the AutoMeter Nexus line - the orange version matches the G gauges perfectly...they have online demos on the site...the best gauge you can buy.

No doubt!!! But for a perfect match...I think it's worth it.

I'm going through this stage now myself...this is a very timely thread for me.

I don't know man...I've been buildling cars for 20 years...use nothing but AutoMeter - Apexi are also really good. I've heard lots of bad things about Defi though.

+1 all around. I don't know that autometer is the best, but they are quality gauges at reasonable prices (for the quality). In the end, that makes them a good buy. Having all of the color, size and face options also helps. I was always happy with them in my '97 Mitsu. GSX and my '55 Chevy Bel Air. For both cars, I was able to get some that matched perfectly.

Defi has made some nice-looking guages, but they didn't have a great reputation when I was in the market. Maybe they've changed that in the last couple of years.

I also like APEXi, but back when I had my GSX, their gauges were mainly metric. I like to see my boost in PSI for easy recognition. Readings in BAR had to be mentally converted. I'm sure they have a much wider variety now, but it would probably still come down price and overall look. While APEXi can look nice, Autometer usually has something that can really match your OEM cluster... ...if that's what you want.

With the custom work to mold that mount into the cover - I'd say $1,000 - $1,250 total for that exact look and feel - if you don't/can't do it yourself.
