It takes about 45 minutes. Its fairly simple they give you step by step directions. The only pain is having to torque the bolts. It comes off just as easy as putting it on. You should have no problems you can't even see it unless you are really looking.

The spacer itself is quite an easy installation. Prior to the install, be sure to be familiar with all of the steps. With regard to the upper plenum bolts . . . You will be using new bolts, which are included. Be sure to use an inch-lb. torque wrench. That will eliminate any quess work on your part.

is it easy to remove? and the 5'6 would allow me to keep the engine cover right?

Yes, the 5/16" spacer will allow you to retain the OEM engine cover. It is quite a simple task to remove the existing upper plenum. If you happen to have someone available, they could hold the upper plenum for you, while you install the spacer. I installed the spacer and the lower plenum/collector (MREV+) by myself. So, I removed the upper plenum/throttle body assembly to get it out of the way.

the basic 5/16" spacer is easy to install because you dont need to change the lower plenum gasket...just buy a inlbs torque wrench at sears...use it clean it and return it....

Why are Sedan owners buying the 1/2" spacer? The Motodyne web site indicated the engine cover will fit with a 1/2" spacer on the sedan!

because most of us want the "across the power-band" gains for everyday driving that the 5/16 spacer affords us....
