E-Brake light stays on?

Alright this is pretty weird, a few days ago I noticed that even though my E-brake was not engaged the BRAKE light was popping on and off while I was driving, so i pulled over, fully engaged the e-brake, released and the light came off. So yesterday when I started up my car my VDC, SLIP, and BRAKE lights where all on, after driving the car for 10 seconds they all turned off except for the BRAKE light, which stayed on all day no matter what I did. It could be possible that you're low on brake fluid....which would mean ur pads are wearing down...how many miles do u have on the brakes?

I deffenitely need to replace the break pads, but would that really cause the brake light to come one?

Yes...when you're brake pads wear down...the fluid is being used more therefore lowering the regular amt. of fluid you should have in the reservoir. For a temporary fix you can put in more fluid...but I suggest you should replace your pads and resurface the rotors asap.
