When I am crusing round 35-45mph I turn the radio down and open the windows and I hear a screatching sound. It sounds like the wheels on a "radio flyer" coming down the street. Squek...Squek..Squek. I havn't had time to bring it in yet. Any ideas to what it might be. My friend ran aside the car and said it sounded like metal scraping together. It is so annoying! Please Help!

Could be a stuck caliper.

does it go away when you press the brakes or when you accelerate?

I noticed that there is like vibrating buzz in the front of my car when I accelerate. Weird.

You are in Orlando right? I live in south Orlando. Bring the car by sometime. I have a garage and a couple floor jacks. We can take the wheels off and figure it out.

I also got weird noise when i stepped on the break, i'm at 7000 km (around 4500 miles). it sort of sounds like scratching the dish with a knife. Anyone knows what might have happened? Also, i got rattling noise from the glove box, i think it is cover by the warranty, but i don't know if they could fix it right... man, so many minor problems on the G35 (which is a good thing that no major issues), but it's getting annoying.

 

It could be the brake pads... I had to change my Pads in
5000 miles... I was shocked, but the dealers told me that it is
my driving style that worned out the brake pads...???

 

that doesn't sound good at all. Make sure all your lugs are tight.

I took it into the dealer wednesday and of course it had to rain. So when they took the car out, it didn't make the noise and even if it did, the rain hitting the car would block it out. So i now have to wait till it does it again and immediately bring it to the dealer so a service guy can take it out with me. This is such a pain in the a&& and to think I paid all this money for a car that sounds like a tricycle driving down the road!
They jacked the car up and found nothing wrong with it. Answer to braking/acce ???, When I am cruising and it makes the noise, I can step on the brake and the noise will either change or go away, meaning it should be brake related. The sound gets higher and then goes away when I accelerate.


I HAVE NO CLUE!!!
