Switched from Mobil 1 to AMSOIL

I recently switched from Mobil 1 Synthetic 5w30 to Amsoil SAE 5w30 and noticed that acceleration is rather sluggish now at the low-end? I feel like I'm running on DYNO oil. Anybody has the same experience?

It feels like I'm pulling 300 lbs weight behind me....

Alex

I'm using AMSOil and I can't tell the difference. I don't know if you would be able to tell the difference. I think its in your head. Personally, I don't know if there's much difference in the oils in terms of performance in normal operating conditions. My primary reason for running AMSOil is to better protect my engine when it sees higher heat on the track.

I switched to Amsoil 2 weeks ago. I did Amsoil engine flush too. Noticed quite the opposite-car seems to be lighter on its feet.

Me too, I switched from Mobile1 to AMSoil ASL SAE 5W-30 and experience better, not the worse. I did the flush like you did also.
