Q's on vented hood and water & rain coming in

Don't now if this in on the forum or not and did a quick search but nothering came up.

I have a vented hood seibon cf and was wondering if it will be bad for the engine bay, belts and hoses if water, rain or other stuff get through there. I have a cover but sometimes things can happen. Mostly worried about car wash & rain.

Any input will be helpful.

youll be fine. your engine bay will get dirtier a hella lot faster but as long as you dont suck any water up through your intake you should be fine. in fact, lots of people hose their engines off to clean them.

I have no issues.

I have 2 different Seibon TS hoods on my car and not a single issue.

Theres nothing to worry about. Your engine bay will get dirtier and louder outside the car. Thats about it

no you're good to go. I am FI and the vented hood definately helps to keep out the hot air. You can see a heat haze over my hood where all the heat is coming out.

dont worry you be aright...what do you think happens when it rains and puddles splash all over anyway...plus your letting heat out which is the number one cause of lossing horsepower(i know someone gonna bash that comment so PM me if you want)...
