Sedan/Coupe Parts difference

Does anyone know exactly the difference in parts between these engines? The exhaust is obviously at least a little different, possibly the airbox... how about the ecu?

Re: Sedan/Coupe Parts difference

Using TechnoSqaure as a basis, I'd have to say yes...Rev lines are different, as the peak power is different from coupe to sedan...They offer an upgrade for the Coupe and the auto Sedan, so there's an obvious difference in the Auto and 6MT ECUs, which I'm sure we all safely assumed...Without playing with an ECU from each I can't say 100%, but I have to think that TechnoSquares offerings and just basic automotive knowledge would dictate the ECUs are different...

Gear ratios differ as well...Forgot to mention that...

Auto to 6mt have different gear ratios. But a 6mt, Z, G35 coupe and G35 sedan all have the same gear ratios and final drive ratio. Ditto same mix for auto.

Only the Z roadster gets a different final drive ratio via its diff in 6mt and auto.

Right, auto and 6mt are different...

I wasn't really considering the Z as it wasn't brought up...Good point though, on the Z and Roadster...

Re: Sedan/Coupe Parts difference

I think Technosquare only reprograms stock ECU’s. What I want to know is whether the part number is the same. If it is, it should be possible to upload the program from the z/g35 coupe. I am just looking to level the playing ground (power wise) between our engines. I don’t want to start upping hp from 260, I want to start upping hp from 280, or even 287. Do we know of anyone who has exhaust and airbox mods? Or should I ask if anyone has run these mods on a dyno. If anyone has access to parts number searches, please look this up. This may be as easy as asking your service manager if he can re-flash your ECU.
