Fuel system tune up/ Fuel injector cleaning

I am not sure if this is the right forum.

But just wondering that if the VQ35 would need any of the above. If yes, what interval are you guys usually performing those at?

Thanks in advance

I would just run good gas through it. Frequent stations with high turnover rates.
Generally have the cleanest gas.
You can pour in a bottle of Techron at every oil change, etc.
I read recently it is a good idea to swap brands every few weeks, different detergents in the fuel are better at cleaning up specific kinds of contamination.
Now you know as much as I do, which ain't much!

I've got friends that work at Shell, Chevron, and Texaco. One on and two off the record say to use Chevron, any grade. Out of those three, Shell has come the closest to duplicating Chevron's Techron without crossing patent or copyright laws.

I personally use Chevron gas. I figure if it's good enough for the EPA mileage and emission tests it's good enough for me.

I also agree that a bottle of Techron every oil change is good maintenance. Just remember to pour in the Techron first, then fill up. I've found that it mixes better that way. I would also refrain from "romping" on the car while that stuff is in there. I've had some massive detonation in the past, even with super.

I use one application of BG 44K annually, followed by one app. of Redline's Complete Fuel Injection System Cleaner at every 2500 mile oil change. Both products are excellent and worth researching and following up on.

My car has a little over 36k miles and put the BG 44k fuel treatement in it and a guy from a dealer also did some other stuff through the intake and the car runs way better now. It is good to do it every 20k miles or so.

I will get accurate results on march 9th at the drag strip.

bg 44k for me.
I try to do it every oil changes but I still feel that would be an overkill.
