In cabin filter

I installed the carbon HEPA activated in cabin micro filter and when putting it into the box, it scraped and little bits of carbon came off, it was really hard to clean it alone but i left it there. if it gets sucked into the a/c system, will it do any harm?

I think that should be fine. If there wasn't a filter at all, you'd be sucking in all sorts of dust, fluffy seeds, feathers, etc. into the system anyway. Are you using the GroundingGear filter?
