No ECU reset will make your coupe "feel" as quick as the 5AT sedan. Dozens if not hundreds of other coupe owners before you have mentioned the same thing about the loaner sedans being a more lively car to drive. Do a search if you don't believe it.
I once had a black 6MT coupe on order way back in late '02, but as soon as I drove the first ones that showed up, I knew it was a heavy pig of a car. Needless to say, I bought my 5AT sedan that day and have never regretted it.
That extra 20 HP listed on the coupe, if not total BS, is due to the use of 92 octane fuel and the extra few degrees of timing. No data required for me to know which car is more fun to drive.

I also have a 5AT coupe that feels sluggish. I first noticed it a while back when I raced and was beaten by cars I should'nt have been...namely, a Maxima and a 330 Xi. When I stomp on it, it takes a while for it to accelerate....the RPMS slowly increase. It used to be much quicker. I typically drive in manu-matic mode, and stepping on it in 3rd around 40 mph used to be much better than it is now. Any ideas? Thanks.
i dropped mine off to have the engine replaced i have an 06 coupe which felt like a slug compared to the sedan but that was because my engine was toast it feels much better now but i will know better once its broke in
