njsfastestg if you are so worried about him running off with the money.. then just buy them yourself. Putting together a group buy is no picnic, and certainly isn't rewarding.. doesn't help when the ones benfiting from it have to be PITAs about it to.

this is the first group buy i ve ever done, gonna pay him tomorrow, not saying he s gonna do that, juty wanna see how it turns out so i can partcipate in other group buys dude.i pmed ted and i m sure he understands.have a good one fellas!!!

 

I didn t get a response to the amount of people on the list so i could of paid.if ted puts out the list tonite i can pay tomorrow or monday the day he sends the order in.just waiting on the list just like most of the other guys waiting

the last thing he said is that he had 16.don t know how many he has now.dec 5 or 6 was the deadline.if it was done then everyone would have gotten the hoses next week or so.this is sad.

 

Is the group buy still open on the hose sets, if it is I will take a set of red..Can pay now if required.

njsfasterstg & others - do ANY of U have an idea exactly how frustrating this is to those of us who have already paid? Or for that matter, poor Ted?! At last count there were about 3 or 4 of ya "waiting for Ted to get closer to 20". Do the math!!! If he has 16 now ( as posted ) then those of you who are holding up this group buy by waiting ARE the ones who'll get us to the magic number of 20!! Guys, granted a GB is a leap of faith ( sending your $$ to a stranger ) but if someone takes the time to join a club like G35 Driver then organize a GB then it's a pretty sure thing that he's a straight-up guy. Ted PM'ed everyone & said he couldn't place the order until he had ALL the money from EVERYONE!! What's so hard to understand about that?? I don't mean to pick on njsfastestg alone because others know who they are. It's gonna take some time for the order to be processed so let's either get in on the buy or I'd recommend that Ted close it to those who wait to get in after the 20 mark is reached. In fact, Ted, please PM me & I'll buy enough hose sets to reach the 20 needed for the order to go ahead. I'll give the snails until Monday ( 1-12 ) to cough up the dough or they'll find themselves on the outside looking in as after I PayPal Ted the cash I'll ask him to close this thread.

I stayed out of this as much as I could. Ted is the best; he is as straight as it gets when it comes to things like this - he has been one of the best contributors to this community.

njfastestg - or whatever your userid is - do you realize what you are saying -'I'm gonna wait til we get like 17-18 before I pay" It's like saying - "oh, I'm just gonna wait til everyone else pays there taxes - and if so - I'll pay too". Stop being ignorant; this is basic fairness and courtesy to fellow G35ers that we are talking about. Get your sh*t together and stop holding up the GB.

If it was up to me, I would drop this guy and take the next one (not originaly on the first-20 list) to get in on this so that we can move forward and not cause Ted any more headache than is absolutely necessary ... Coordinating this GB is something Ted is doing on his own time and it is NO PICNIC, and he does that to help the community.

So let's go guys, lets get this done. We could've had this 2 weeks ago if it wasn't for people like njfastestg.
