Greddy SP2 Install - how to make tips flush? see pix
Happy New Year everybody! So I installed my Greddy SP2 yesterday, and as expected from a Greddy product it sounds great and the quality is great. I have loved the SP line ever since i first got an SP1 on my old car 10 years ago. I was a little surprised to find it was only axle-back for our cars, but since im not FI'd and the stock piping seems pretty nice, no biggie to me.
The one thing I DONT like about this exhaust is how the tips stick out. I have attached pictures showing that I did indeed push them into the rubber mounts as far as it will go. I also attached a pic of one i found that isn't sticking out, its flush.... help me! Other than cutting and welding, is there anything I can do???

try looking further upstream - loosen up all your exhaust mounts/lubricate the hangers and see if you could manipulate it back to a flush position

This system is sapposed to be like that . it accounts for our rear spoiler that we have for the car and other aftermarket bumpers . but not too much so that if you run the stock bumper it wont look funny .

i had an sp2 before, and mine was sticking out just like yours. i have a stock exhaust now, but it's still sticking out just like the sp2. sorry, can't help you with any better info, but it could be a hanger location from the factory because my friend's stock exhaust looks flushed (actually one side little shorter) with a rear bumper.

yup, yup, but i like how it looks a lot. i still have the HFC, but i'm not sure if they made any difference. just like the Greddy's response, you should just go for Greddy full body kit.
