Temp guage after oil pan spacer install

Hey all,

I just installed the AAM-spec oil pan spacer this weeend and noticed that my temperature guage on my dash is one notch below the half-way mark between H and C. I don't recall if it was exactly in the middle before, but I seem to think it may have.

Can you guys check your temp guages and let me know where the needle sits at after the engine's been run for a good half hour or so?

Oh, one last question, what exactly does the temp guage report the temperature of - is the engine oil?

Thanks,
Brian

the temp gauge shows engine water temp not oil temp...I highly doubt your gauge will show cooler from an oil pan spacer. That gauge sucks and has a huge gap in between temp levels for it to even move a hair.
