"The stock crank pulley/damper is what is called an audible harmonic damper, in laymen’s terms that means control of harmonics you would hear in the occupant compartment. Similar example is the factory use of baffles and resonators in the intake manifold. These methods are used because of the factories fanaticism about quiet in the occupant compartment."

Does this mean that the pulleys will cause a significant increase in the noise levels inside the car? Does anyone have any comparison audio clips? Unorthodox addressed the issue of engine longevity quite well. Are there any other side effects to the pulleys?

 

If people bail out of the Stillen group buy then the numbers won't be as good for everyone else. What's everybody's take on that? I don't care where I get the pulleys - I/We just want the best price. BTW, what's the url for Conceptz??

 

I already have a crank pulley, would it be possible to get the rest of the set? Or would anyone that just wants to buy the Crank pulley be willing to break up a set for me?

Unfortunately, I can't get Stillen/U-R to respond to any questions until ??? Monday maybe... I will try to call Adam tomorrow, but i doubt they are working.
