My car turned off while driving....
this happened to me to if u put ur car in "N" from higher speeds, it will just turn off.. i was like whats up with my power steering? so i just keep it in gear when i slow down getting off the freeway
Again, I had a Injen Cold Air Intake. This happened to me 3 different times. I had a 5AT. One time I was on the freeway doing 60-70 MPH and all of a sudden the car just completely shuts off in drive, every single light on the dash turned on. Lucky for me, it was late at night and not many cars were on the freeway. Again, this happened to me when I was coming off an exit on a busy street, lucky no one hit me from behind. Again, it happened another time as well. I was lucky all 3 times but it is def. a bad situation. It was all due to the Cold Air Intake, it will happen at random times, very random times. There have been numerous threads about this same situation happening to many others with the Stillen and Injen Cold Air Intake's.

Question. How can you guys justify a CAI like that when:
1) It clearly jumbles the maf reading to make the car stall
2) Can easily drink up a few quarts of water to paper weight your VQ
3) Hasn't shown to really do much of anything hp-wise vs stock or sheilded cone types (ie.. stillen)
How are you guys justifying the risk/reward? Just for the sound? IMHO a bad trade.

I bought the intake and exhaust for a good deal because my buddy wanted to go back to stock, I had no prior knowledge there wasn't much HP gains and it was all sound. I wouldn't have gotten an intake if that was the case.
Back to the fact though, Manufactures shouldn't make Intakes that will **** up our cars, yes the water induction is an issue, but if that didn't happend and the car was still stalling then it's not our faults.

I don't think I've read of anyone using a stock or cone style having this problem.

why on earth would youput your car in "N" from a higher speed?
If there's not CEL, it's going to be very difficult to "check out". Exactly what would he be looking for?

CAI stalling
If you read the last page of the Injen install manual, it says just to cut out a small piece of that foam block thing in the bumper. if u take that whole thing out, it will cause the car to stall out.
