dude... you know the "accordian" plastic piece coming out of the Tb... you dont need that... you can directly install the ztube right on to the TB... trust me itll fit better, i just installed mine yesterday.

Yeh, but does the p/c allow colder air in? Especially without a heat shield, like this one...?

Doesn't the heat sheild have dual purposes? Control the heat directed at the filter and on mine it looks like it would keep any rain that may get in past the engine shield from getting to the filter, your intake as shown in the picture looks like it would be bringing in more hot air than with the heat shield, since you are also not tied into the OEM air scoop. Just my opinion

Disconnect the negative battery terminal and then pump the brake. That should do it.

ECU reset thread:
https://g35driver.com/forums/engine-drivetrain-forced-induction/6526-easy-ecu-resetting.html

The pc heat shield, though not the best, does also utilize the oem air dam that on top of radiator as mentioned before.
Plus lets you sport the CARB sticker that you should have too.

Pix of mine with heat shield that came with kit from JWT.

Does anyone have a step by step guide or DIY to install the Z tube? I'm new to this so any pointers would help as I don't want to stuff it up. I just received my Z tube today to be hooked up to the factory airbox.

Thanks!
