I heard that some member gained a significant amount of power from tunning with SAFC, yet no conclusive dyno numbers of before and after.
Please all you with SAFC tuned VQ motors please post your numbers and expiriences with SAFC.

Maybe NISMO G will chime in here, I know he has one. I don't know if he dyno'd before and after, but it's hard to argue with his 1/4 performance.

Can you please provide your current setting on your SAFC, hight throttle, low throttle and other setting that you can find. Many members here including myself would like to know how and to what extend our cars need AF corection.
Thanks

Using someone else's settings is a bad idea. Every car reacts differently and where you live will also factor in. Get a wideband or take it to a dyno and tune it safely.

DUH,,,, no one is planning to use anyones settings. SAFC tune is defenitly car specific and no one should try to put someones settings in their car ,its way too easy to destroy the engine this way.
I just wanted to get a general idea of how much corection might be neded for these engines and also if low throttle can be tuned too, as in many cars you can not override low throttle only high. Factory ecu overrides any correction that you make on low throttle and over time it adjusts af ratios to how it was before.

A thought. Before you use one. You need to see WHERE you need adjustments. In order to do that, you need to be able to see your a/f ratios. Either a dyno or an OBDII datalogger. THEN you can start playing around with the adjustments. Just fiddling around with the adjustments without any data before hand has about a 90% of failing vs success.

well YEA,,,, of course i have to see AF ratios first.
My plan was to take it to a dyno, but as Im thinking now maybe some obd2 monitoring datalogger would work better for me in case i want to redo adjustments later if I add any more mods. I have never used one though and im not sure if they are as acurate as dyno or wideband. ANyone use dataloggers to tune????????????

With an 03, a OBD2 tool won't help your monitor a/f's. You'll need a dedicated wideband. or dyno time.
