Check your mail. I sent you a PM trying to help you out. Im not sure if you had already fixed it or fixed it then your power steering went out. Make sure the belts are pretty tight..when you push down on it...it should give in very much at all.

Did you ever get this fixed? I don't know if this will help, but:

"WARNING: Be sure to perform while engine is stopped."

Not sure if this helps but it sounds like you're too loose, squeaks bad when tight enough, right? Put a dab of dish soap on it while it's running, that is a temporary fix but maybe the belt just needs to break in a little?

replaced mine over the weekend, and I've found that if I make it loose enough to get rid of the squeaks, then the battery light comes on and no power steering. If I tighten to correct this, I get squeaks. Any chance the belt might have to "break in" for a couple days? I'd rather not take it to the shop so they can tell me this.
