Nitros set up???

im not sure if this has been discussed yet or not, but i couldnt find anything about it. I was wondering how strong the VQ35 was when dealing with nitros. I have been thinking about putting in a 50 or 75 shot but i dont want to risk blowing the motor. Will the motor be able to handle a small shot or will it have problems? Also what kind of nitros kit would be best? wet, dry ,etc...?

Ive always had good experiences with NOS and with the RIGHT TUNE with only 75 shots you really don't have to worry about blowing the motor. Of course it will cause a lot more wear and tear. But thats pretty much it. Just make sure you get a dam good tune and you have some what of an idea at what speeds and rpms to use it at.

how/what do you use to tune it? And as for wear and tear, what kind of problems will come of this?

its could be a lot of different problems at the worst extend a blow engine of course. You rods can bend even twist blow piston rings head gaskets just to many to name. And you need a good air/fuel tuner use search it will be a lot more insight then anything.

Also make sure you have a professional tuner tune it for you. Not someone to just do a half *** job thats a guaranteed blow engine for sure.

wet kit all the way less stress on your engine. And more safety features.

Have a look on my350z board. Some guys run 150 on a stock motor but you'll need a better engine management like a Greddy Ultimate or my favorite, Utec. They say you can run 100 with nothing more than an A/F like Apexi's but...... I would get at least the Greddy. The VQ can take it. Best bang (no pun intended) for the buck by far. 125 shot and your into high 12's Some single turbo's won't do it for you and then spent how much????? Hmmmm......... If you need anything give me a PM, I can help.
