Wins what category? I don't see them winning anything at all, honestly.

Waaaaayyyyy too thick. Why use such a thick oil? Infiniti and Mobil both don't recommend such a thick viscosity.

Royal Purple all the way for me. 75K miles on my baby, over 25K miles of those SC'd w/ a Vortech at 400rwhp and no issues whatsoever.

I'm not gonna mess with a good thing

McDonald's is common too, but it doesn't make their food, "good".

Turbocharged or not, using a viscosity that is too thick can cause problems, esecially a viscosity that thick.

very true... It's a common problem that has plagued my professional career: "why do you do it that way?"... response: "because that’s the way its always been done"... reality: it's always been done wrong, or could be done better...

How does this relate?... There are followers and there are leaders - if the followers do things because it's common - it doesn’t mean it's right or the best... research proves "best".

No offense meant - so no flame needed...

Doesn't the area of which you are located count as well? Say... Somewhere that the temp. is mostly hotter vs. somewhere where the avg. temp. is normally colder? Or do I not make sense?
