Would it be possible, or has anyone ever tried to put a 4X4 drivetrain on a G coupe? You could probably get the parts off a sedan or some older Nissan models. My question is: how much would parts cost for such a thing??

 

it wouldn't be worth it, but it should be possible. The only reason why it wouldnt be worth it is because the AWD system on the G35x for example is not a performance type of AWD such as on an EVO or STI.... you'd be spending a lot of money, for no performance gain.

 

I completely disagree. The performance gains would be obvious. Traction!! The G35X's AWD system is the Atessa ET-S system from the R32. Care to reconsider? There are a number of companies whom have created AWD 350Z's so It shouldn't be much different. The swap would probably cost 5k + all the connections you have. I've been waiting for someone to do this and have been secretly planning this lol.
