Engine

What do you all think!!!!
This is the 3rd time i have taken my car ito the dealership because when I start it up in the morning there is a loud rattle sound coming from the motor, and it also makes that sound in 1st and 2nd gear. The dealer tells me that my engine is buring oil some how. There is no leak. So they dont no. They told me to bring back when it makes the sound again. Oh by the way when I went to check the dip stick it was tied down with a twisty aroound the intake and some other wire and there was no oil in the engine.

and once the car warmed up the noise would stop. I assume because the oil begins to spread around. Anyways sorry for such a long post but this is annoying having to go back every 2 months.

You can use a cheaper higher blending RON component [ethanol] to raise the AVERAGE OCTANE while missing the mark on EXPENSIVE MON OCTANE numbers.

A single MON point costs 3 times more to increase than a useless RON point!

Simple to test if it is the gasoline, just add 5 gallons of high octane racing fuel which has a high real MON number.
Too bad it fouls O2 sensors, but Kemco OS130 is the Shiznit for my "off-road" vehicles that dont have cats or O2 sensors. Also a nice valve stem/face lube. http://www.kemcooil.com/products.php?cId=4

A few oz/gallon into 87 does the trick. Gotta wear gloves and dont breathe the fumes, unless you want to turn into bubba gump.

I'm at 3500 miles now. I didnt't notice it until after 1000 miles when I started to drive my car harder. but yes, sounds like a rattle. Service tech says its normal. not to worry. Also, there are no flashes for this engine.
Check your oil, that may be valves. 6MT's have a Vacuum problem. I am losing a QT every 1000 miles.
