Re: Poor gas consumption on my G35

I had 10mpg on my first tank and around a consistant19mpg after, now with 3800 miles.

Torque is a big factor in gas usage. If you are in the torque range you will be using a lot of gas.

I know its hard, but try not to drive with a heavy foot guys =P

Re: Poor gas consumption on my G35

I got bad mileage (14mpg) first 1,000-2,000 miles. Then it popped up to 16 then again to 17. This is all city driving, "normal". I have 6,000 miles on it now.

Two things:
1. The car gets poor milage in break in. I would wait until
3,000 miles before I got concerned.
2. The car likes to be driven (fast). I drive fast everywhere I go
in this thing. I figure it will go through gas, brakes, and
tires faster than expected.
