Hey guys, i was driving home from work the other day and i was stopped at a light and all of a sudden my car just died. Then the next day my car started jerking and the VDC OFF light came on as well as the SLIP LIGHT and then my Engine Light came on. I figured i would see if the problem would just go away, but last night my car shut off while i was cruising at like 45mph. It also has a hard start after it's warmed up (which just started with the rest of these problems). I was just wondering if anyone of you guys have heard of this before. I'd like to get an idea of how much this will cost me to get fixed. Thanks.

it appears to be a more common issue here on the boards. my car just had the same thing happen and is being serviced as we speak. it could be any sensor but the majority of the issues i've seen on the boards here get fixed by replacing the throttle position sensor. search "stalling engine". take it to the dealer and let them check the code and good luck.

 

I would just take it to the dealer. Also was your car in N when all of this happened, some people with intakes have had the car die when putting it into neutral.
