MY G keeps turning off!!!
Could be a faulty fuel pump, or maybe a clogged fuel filter.....Maybe you picked up a bad batch of fuel (water).
The maf sensor is another likely candidate, especially with an aftermarket CAI. They replaced mine on my car sometime back....my car would just lag for no reason from time to time......
Make sure all the connections are tightened correctly, and check for any possible air leaks.....I heard this is a common problem with aftermarket intakes.
Good luck.

What fuel system cleaners do you use and how often per tank fill? Not all types are to be used often, just read the recommended frequency. For the normal gas treatment kind, I generally think they work best on a full tank fill and every other fill, depending on driving circumstances. Every once in a while, I swap in fuel injector cleaner, I try not to mix different kinds on one fill.
most likely its cuz of the Cold Air Intake. i had the same problem.. when i got mine i put a AEM cold air... and when i would put the car in "N" while exiting freeways it would shut off...... but it hasn't happened for a while wierd .. but yea most of the ppl its happen to have a Cold Air intake
Hey guys,
Well I've driving it around for the last week and so far it hasn't happened again yet. I cleaned the MAF sensor and it's been smooth sailing since then... Thank you for all your help. I'm almost certain that it was because of me oiling my filter after i cleaned it and not giving it enough time to dry completely. Thank god the sensor didn't go bad completely because my dealer warned me that if my MAF sensor does go bad and they have to replace it, it's going to all be on me because they have had numberous problems with G35's and MAF sensors going bad on G's with CAIs.

Well, don't tell them next time and put back the OEM if you do have a faulty MAF.
sounds like an electic problem i had a lexus ls400 w/ a system and the car had the same problem...then finally it wouldnt start at all nothing. No one could figure out what the problem was it turned out the fuse box was melting down.
This happened to me a few times. When driving, then pushing in the clutch real fast the revs would drop too low before coming back up to idle and the car stalls out. If this happens, just let the clutch back out and the car will restart (if your still moving). I do have a popcharger, probably screwing a bit with the airflow/idle control under certain conditions.
I had the same problem on my '03 6MT sedan, but I got lucky with a simple fix.
The symptoms: when I hit the clutch and brake at the same time on an exit ramp, the engine died. Also, it was overshooting the idle when warm. If I blip the throttle, it went up and then dropped well below 650rpm before popping back up to idle. It also began to stall on warm starts.
All the threads I found said things like "dirty MAF" "it's your CAI, TPS, ECM, etc.". Turns out it was a dirty throttle body.
Pulled the throttle body out (four hex screws and a hose clamp) and found it gunked up - stuff happens in 100,000 miles. When the plate is clean, there are gaps at the top and bottom for idle air. Mine was dirty enough that the gaps were blocked. Cleaning the throttle body and plate solved it. No more stalls or idle overshoot.
So there you go - another thing to check if your beloved G is stalling out.
