Whos not happy with the Mrev 2?

Ive got a 05 revup 6mt coupe, and im looking to get the mrev2 + 5/16 spacer. I currently have crawford cats, hks exhaust, and a K&N typhoon intake. I will admit, i didnt notice any significant (if at all) power gains with those mods. Im curious, before buying an mrev + spacer, if anyone has not notice power gains and would say its a waste of money for the most part?

also, any stories about the car having problems after the mods would be appreciated.

(and as a side question, can i retain engine cover w/mrev2 +5/16 spacer?)

LOL. Definately NOT worth the money. A few horses for that much money??? Save it and get something worth while. I wish now I would not have spent all the moeny I did in exhaust, removing cats, pulley set, clutch, flywheel... and just spent the money on a supercharger or turbo set up.

bro if you want the truth ill give it to you.........the mod selection that you have now is good and your not even feelin any gains......even if you got it a tune wouldnt help that much, you need more mods to really see it.....if anything i would get a plenum, but not even..

i had a similar set up with intake, exhaust, plenum, pulleys, and etc and i wasnt happy with the correlation of money to power.......save your money for a supercharger or TT......you will thank me a few years down the line if you take my advice

thommyboy knows whats really good ^^^^

i had the mrev2 w/5/16 on my 6mt an then switched the 5/16 out for the crawford v5. i noticed a considerable difference before and after i had it tuned with the utec. the mrev does take a little top end power but u def feel it down low.

I just installed mine last night. It a definite power booster in the middle of the RPM band 3-5k. I love the sound that the MREV2+Spacer make in my 05 6MT!

If you are staying NA for sure, then MREV2+5/16 is definetly a must, but if you plan on going FI, then you'll make more money for your buck putting it towards the FI fund. Thats pretty much what is comes down to, but the MREV2+5/16 spacer will give you more useable HP than pretty much any bolton mod for NA out there

I plan on going FI...but it's years away. Can't hurt to have MREV2+Spacer for FI...though it might not make that much difference.

and come october i might just get a utec and have performance factory tune it for me =)

id love to go FI, but i think id rather trade in the car for a vet or something of the sort, before bothering with FI headache's

I agree with otacon132 I also wanna do FI, but would rather do a little looks, sound, and performance and be happy when I trade it in for a zo6 vette in three years. Past FI cars where headaches (EVO 9 and 97 Eclipse) but sure were fun
