No,i properly replaced all of them with all new iridium plugs and it still shows p0302.

 

Then it's time to consider other things on the list.

 

fuel injector maybe? im thinking about taking it to the dealership if i cant find the main cause.

 

Did you pull out the spark plug for #2 to make sure it is still gapped correctly and maybe even put in a new spark plug in there to see if it is a problem with the spark plug?

 

the old plug was still gapped correctly by specs, there was no corrosion, in fact, it still had some life to go for a few thousand miles, so plugs and coils are out of the list for me. its either the injector or the exhaust valve if not i really don't know.

 

I would expect you to get 2 codes if you swapped the wires for the coils. 0302 and 0304 - but I haven't tried it.

Check the connector for #2 (disconnect and reconnect) and if that doesn't fix it, switch the coils from #2 and #4 - then if the code moves to 0304, you know the coil is toast.

 

Yes you would get two codes if that was the case. He's tried switching the coils but to no avail as per a previous post.
