I bought the car at 23k, so I think I'll change the plugs and air filter, just to appease the mod bug until my warranty is expired (aka countdown to S/C).

You guys helped me pick the best air filter, now how about plugs? What plug and gap have been found to run the best? I heard denso or NGK, which I prefer anyway. I don't want expensive gimmick plugs. Sound good to you guys? If so, what gap?

I saw 6 NGK LFR6AIX-11 Iridium IX Sparkplugs @ 0.035, but that gap seems too small. Even the blown cars I'm used to have a 0.045-0.055 gap.

I tried searching, I didn't get a full answer.

 

Are you telling me that with all these mods and tuning systems available for our engine, nobody's done testing with spark plug heat ranges and gaps?

Certainly someone knows. Did I miss a sticky or search somewhere?

 

I've been doing my reasearch aswell, almost due for new plugs, I would go with any one of these plugs & maybe set the gap at 0.046 & just test & tune.
