I am currently using fram but seems like Purolator is a better stuff.

the best grade filter i could find for the money was the napa gold filters made by wix. even the nissan/infiniti filters have the crappy endcaps like most lines of fram and the standard purolator filter have. i think i picked up the napa ones for around 6 bucks a piece. btw, looks like the link is dead for the moment.

Amsoil filters are pretty excellent and they filter particles much smaller than a lot of the competition. See the following link for more information:

I use NAPA's UltraGuard gold filters. I read an article a few years ago and they were the best...FRAM and K&N were not so good. One thing to remember is that over-filtering is just as bad as no filter. If the filter induces too much resistance, the oil will use the bypass (which it does after a certain RPM anyway).

You see my post about getting Napa's gold filters for cheap? Search for threads I've started. That place has a great deal on them.
Fram filters basicly suck.
K&N are decent I believe. As they are the same as Mobil 1?

ive used either the oem nissan or the purolator pure one filter...if you are changing the oil every 3.5k miles then it doesnt make a difference
