ive had my 07 DG Coupe for a week now and ive started noticing a sound coming from the engine bay area. its more of a click and a "ziiinnnnn" sound. IDK... hard to explain. only happens after the car has been parked for a while. the sound is more noticeable when you drive at low speeds. are there any other 07 coupe owners that have heard similar sounds and if so what have you done about it. im going to call the dealership later on and see what they say.

 

do you hear the same/similar sound that ive described or known anyone else that has heard the sound. is it anything that i have to be very concerned about.

If that sound you hear last longer than second and half? then it isnt ABS doing self check.

 

check for evil trolls in the engine bay they dont like going over 10mph.

 

I have the same sound in my one-month old 07 AT Coupe and was also wondering if I needed to take it in to the dealer. Sounds to me almost like something metallic falling into place or moving, below and in front of me - lasts for about 1-2 seconds, and only after I'm parked and then begin driving (under 10mph).

So this is normal?

 

exactly...its only that first time after you've been parked for a while then its gone. but the sound always comes back when you're going under 10mph. wondering if any other 07 coupe owners (AT or MT) notice the same sounds, or does this occur with the coupes?
