Ceramic coated helps with the heat... stainless steel is good for longevity... many get ss and have them jet-hot coated (to address the heat).

Yes this is correct, I have coated my manifold not only on my G but also a BIG block 454 engine that has lowered temps. Jet-hot and many other suppliers are out there to choose from. The one I have used is SWAIN TECH. They are very well know and have great prices.

Stainless steel that is coated by an aftermarket company tends to have better longevity results than aluminized pieces that are ceramic coated from the manufacturer, but it also costs more in the long run.

so i should not get the ceramic one than
and go for the stainless steel, but u guys said i need to have jet-hot coated for it.
do i need to do that in order to lower the temp?
or i can just install the header out of the box

You can do whatever you want...IF your looking to decrease under the hood temps then yes, you'll want to get the pieces coated no matter what it is made of.

Again check out SWAIN TECH...They are the best IMO. They actually had a magazine do a right up on them with a nissan motor.

o thanks for the info
so let me clarify something before i will order the part
so i can either get the stainless steel head pipe install and be fine, except that i will get some heat increase under the hood. Unless i get it coated, right?
