Nitrous, not NOS (NOS is a brand name), is the same as an FI setup - only much cheaper, but puts much more stress on an engine that safer SC abnd mild turbo setups. Remember, anything that forces more oxygen to be burned than normal, force feeds it, it forced induction. Nitrous has been seen as forced induction, by die-hards, almost since its use in automotive applications, however it is mostly not accepted as such in recent years.

300 with NA is a dream of mine. But only a dream. I'll get where I can with bolt-ons and maybe internals that I can do myself. But in the end if I want that much power I know I'm going Forced Induction.
However, saving up for the 3.9 final gear is already in my budget. Maybe no power gains (technically) but for the price and the increase in performance I think it's worth it.

you can get somewhat close without touching the internals (except cams). slap on all the (michael) boltons and push it like crazy before dyno'ing.
