yeah, it was this thread. somewhere near the beginning he wrote briefly about it.

 

Here's a look at what had to be done in order for he VG starter to clear the Transmission adapter plate and the VH block.

I used one of the spare blocks to do some initial test cutting and grinding.





Here's what I did to the actual block. I ended up taking a big chunk off since the excess material served absolutley no purpose. There were no dowel pins or harness points in the way. Now, my next concern is how only half of the tranny bolts up to the block. I want to make two brackets that come from the side of the block and bolt to the bottom of the transmission.

All I can do is stare...

 

wow. that explains the long period between updates. That shiznit looks like the most difficult part of the project you have had to deal with.

 

yup.. crazy modding.... hopefully everything will bolt up with the tranny..
