nah the truth about the banner is that I was the mechanic for a whole crew of eclipses. Total eclipse out of san diego. Mine was the only talon in the crew. And it was a 420a 5 speed with a ct26 (toyota supra) turbo in it. Dont mean to hijack the thread about the build but its nice to see someone go outside the box every once in a while. Like I said before, its all good for the usuals to come on here and talk about anything relevant wether it be the v8 swap or even talon/eclipse stuff (for now). However, as soon as I get back I'd like to keep the subject locked to the VH TT so this doesn't become a 50+ page thread about random stuff. There's a similar thread on this forum and alot of people complain about how long and dragged on it is so I'm trying to keep this one concise and update-rich.

Yep, I'm back and on the move again. Before I left for Colorado I had the turbo manifolds made but only tack-welded together. I dropped them off today to get them fully welded and I have the V-bands on order. I'll get everything back on wednesday. While that's getting done, I ordered new lash adjusters for the eclipse since it sounded like a sewing machine because I used the 13 yr old OEM ones from the original motor and they were no good.
If everything goes well the VQ will be coming off the G next week.
