German Castrol Syntec 5W-30?
I need some clarification. I was under the impression that everyone used German Castrol Syntec 5W-30. After going to multiple Autozones I can only find 0W-30 made in Germany. Now after reading up on it more I cant find anthing out about German 5W-30.
So when people say to use German Castrol Syntec, are they reffering to the 0W30? or is there a 5W30?
Thanks

Dont be afraid of the 0W coz that is only for cold start and there is no harm on using 0w coz once it warms up then you're good to go, also the Mobile 0w-40 is more of a thin 40's.

Every oil respond differently on different engine. Only an Oil analysis will really show how an Oil hold up on a particular engine.
Here, check this thread and they are usually based on real data and not hype.

For harder track use Mobile1 0w-40 does hold pretty well and even FI'ed cars are now trusting this oil.
