water temp guage install

Did you guys put the adapter on the top hose or the hose that runs down to the bottom of the radiator? The install stuff I see says to use the top hose, but our top hose is so small.

Thanks in Advance

If you use the bottom hose, you'll get the temperature of the water in the radiator - not the engine. You need to find a place near the top return hose.

Where did everyone else put the adapter? The top hose is not an option with the way the bends are.
