hah ya it took me awhile to figure out why my rev wouldnt lite up , the factory setting was at 8000

 

i have mine set at 6400, but why does the "R" "E" "V" stay on always? i understand that the red light comes under the "REV" on as a "shift light" (even tho i dont pay attention to it) but i dont like the "R"E"V" in the middle of my gauges. what can i do?

 

cover it with tape or remove the LED

 

OK - I'm a noob owner, just picked up on 05 6MT w/ 36k miles. Mine displays "REV" at all times, despite the setting of the Shift Light Feature.

Do all "REV" motors display all the time. The manual doesn't refer to this and I had planned to take mine to the dealer for this and a few other little items.

its always displayed from what i hear.. cant turn mine off.. they told me to unplug the LED..

 

Wait. Look at the OPs signature. ALL those mods and the dude doesn't even know what RevUP is? WTF?
