If you must go after market, then the Stillen airbox would be superior IMO.
But ****** a z-tube, drop in an Amsoil filter, and call it a day. This will increase induction noise and maintain performance.

Most HP gain is from the Z-Tube mod, weither it is a OEM Z-Tube or a STILLEN Z-Tube... This will give you 4-7HP
The air box replacement will add 2-4 HP at most but mainly will add more sound...
Cold air intakes on this car tend to not make as much HP especially once heat soaked...
If you want to do a full intake, the best performing one will be the stillen air box w/ z-tube combo

I was planning on it as my first mod.

There is no industry standard or regulation on those dyno numbers that company's put out...
If you would like, I can guide you to ebay and find a chip that gains 40HP from putting a magnet over your fuel line... Because its "dynoed" people believe it...
Best thing to do is get dyno results from independant dyno's, but even those are not going to be 100% accurate...
if you look at the build of the products, the injen intake has a metal tube that WILL heat soak... once you sit in ntraffit for 5 minutes that thing get hot, heat kills horse power, = less gain / even loss over the stock parts!
