Car Stalling

I have a G35 6MT with a z-tube and pop charger. I have been driving on that setup for months. Early this morning it rained, and as I was driving to work (no rain.. just wet roads) my car stalled under hard accelleration. No check engine light, no errors noted on the nav. Which to me, rules out the MAP sensor malfunctioning.

I go to restart the car, it starts perfectly but after a second or two, the idle drops and it dies, same happens if you hit the gas. I didn't have any tools on me, so I couldn't take things apart to look into it. My guess is that the vacuum line popped off the intake? Sound reasonable?

Anyone else have other ideas as to what the problem may be? I will head back out there with some tools in a few hours to check into it.

Thanks.

Re: Car Stalling

It was the vacuum line. Fixed it in 10 minutes with the right tools.

Re: Car Stalling

I was going to suggest the ignition somehow got wet and shorted. Great that you fixed it.
So which vacuum line got loose?
