Okay, so I got it in, but I can't tune it for another few weeks, so I am just posting pics for now. I will get the dynos posted later and let you guys know of the performance.

I installed one of these 2 months ago. So how much extra power did you get with it?

that'll be the fun part, tuning. jus' be real careful with a/f ratios! very important, not only for idle, and power, but for engine life as well. have any idea where you are going to get it tuned at or who will do it? hope all works out for you!

I live in Orlando,FL. There is a performance place called "Irish Mike's" that tunes AFCs all the time, I will probably have it done in about 2 wks

Did you install it yourself? What year is your G?

 

could you give a short dIY for the s-afc or did you have it put in?

 

this can't be a SHORT DIY, there's several wires to do. but that's about it, just wires. hope you like soldering!

 

I love soldering, I just need a breakdown of the ECU harness.

Actually Pimpinpearl told me that he had a technician at Racing Zone do the install for him. He did the tuning at Irish Mike's and gained in the neighborhood of 10rwhp with intake and exhaust according to him. I saw this hooked up in his car and almost bought the SAFC-II myself, but after reading all of the posts on my350z.com about the ECU relearning and negating the SAFC-II's after a few weeks, I got cold feet.

Maybe Pimpinpearl will chime back in again...
