Oil filter part # - 15208-9E000 instead of 15208-65F00

Anyone here using Oil filter part # - 15208-9E000 instead of 15208-65F00? Apparently the 15208-65F00 is made poorly (cardboard end caps, messy glued together pieces, etc) compared to the longer 15208-9E000 filter used on the older VQ30's. Any issues in using the 15208-9E000? I have a bunch of these filters knocking around which I would like to use on my G35 coupe.

No problems. I've used the the 9E000 numerous times.

Ive been using the 15208-65F0A.. fur as I know its been doing work.

thats fine, its just a taller filter...

the new "65F00" number is now "65F0C"

was originally a 65F00 then 65F0A then 65F0C

but the 9E and 65 can be used either way on the VQ, but the 65 is recommended by nissan / infiniti.
