We all know the 6mt requires premium while the autos do not while it is recommended they use it you don't have too. But he insists the coupes requires it but not the sedans. He won't even listen to anything others are telling him.

In fact my manual says this:

"Use premium gasoline with an octane of at least 91 AKI. If premium is not available, unleaded regular with an 87 AKI can be used may be temporarily used: have fuel tank only partially filled up with unleaded, and fill up premium as soon as possible. Avoid full throttle driving and abrupt acceleration."

Incorrect... And coupe vs sedan auto both have the same ecu tuning.

So, the guy you are complaining about is correct. The Sedans and Coupe's require different fuel according to Infiniti. I am correct, and you are wrong..sorry man.

ONLY Sedan Automatics should take Regular Unleaded, but Premium Unleaded is recommended (not required).

ALL Coupes and Sedan Manuals are required to take Premium Unleaded.
