Gas Milage Vs. Oil

Most of us have at one time or another complained about the poor gas mileage we're getting with the G. I'm curious if the kind of oil we're using would have any effect on how much gas we're using. I'll try to fill you guys in if I find any correlation between the two. Thanks

Please post the following:
1. Year
2. Car (6MT/5AT, X/RWD)
3. Oil you're using
4. Appx miles b/t changes
5. Mileage on the car
6. How often you engage in spirited driving
7. Gas Mileage

Yeah, I realize that driving style will be probably be more of an impact, but I'm still trying to give it a shot.

IMO data will be virtualy useless. Unless the same driver uses the different oils on the same drive under the same contitions, in the same Car, the data is flawed.

Lets face it, the driving style of any given driver can cover up the gains or losses that any oil might give.
