hey guys i got 03 g35c 6mt bone stock would love to add some power to it . nothing big lookinf for about 50 hp/tq increase . what can i do ? any sugestions? there is onnly one litle problem dont wanna lose that sweet g sound so whatever you guys think thanks

 

50hp/tq? going to do alot to get to that!

if anything start off with an Intake, and full exhaust (headers, testpipes, catback etc) if anything you will bring out that VQ engine sound , goodluck with the Modding

Anyway if you want 50 HP/ 50 TQ increase, the cheapest way I see is a Supercharger Kit. I you want to still NA, and get this type of power, it's going to cost major money. Here are the 4 kinds that you can buy.

50hp/trq N/A = $5K probably... FI is the most cost effective, but it's a fun hobby to find creative and sometimes controversial ways to add performance while N/A...

 

ok thanks but one more thing what am i gonna get after plenum spacer, test pipes and some intake or pop charger? also what are the best brands of these items where should i buy these?

 

strup headers and test pipes... they made a big difference in my car. They have dyno charts on strup.com............here are some sound clips of my car with intake, plenum, testpipes, fast intentions custom x-pipe and exhaust. After I installed the headers, it sounds even better now and difference in performance...GL..

 

Get the stillen SC then. You'll have to get another hood though. Anything else is going to be more money, including going NA if you want 50hp, plus it'll be a lot more fun to drive.

 

n/a is fun to drive..incognito style.haha.. ive built a few N/A motors...no vq tho. gotta build and replace everything in the motor, high compression pistons, new rods, race bearings..etc etc..anywas its more reliable that way. BUT for your good bang for the buck..SC or turbo is the way to go..as long as you dont go crazy high boost or drive it like its a race rdy engine you'll be fine. but all-motor is fun when u kill turboed cars and such..heehee
