BLOX 5/8" plenum spacer experience???

The BLOX spacer is some sort of spaceage plastic, which should not trnasfer heat well. And the cost is only $89 plus shipping. Has anyone tried it? Feedback?? Many thanks.

5/8" is also pretty thick, you'll lose alot of the midrange hp compared to a 5/16" spacer
